Super find

A really good find, walking distance to the beautiful white washed traditional Greek villag. A nice swimming pool and clean rooms well appointed and all with sea views. Helpful owners. Only 10kms of road on the island but an excellent bus service to the beach town. & port but not for the less able as its quite a climb up from the village. Great little find.

Such a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Solaris. We adored the room and the location, with a heavenly view of the hora with the sea in the background. In particular though, the service was exceptional. We arrived after 2 weeks of travel with bags full of dirty clothes. They did our laundry free of charge, helped us to and from the port, were friendly and available for questions and enjoyable chats. This is quite an amazing value.

Very accomodating staff

Really made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Thanks for te hospitality. Having the pool overlooking the town is lovely.

Lovely Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay – our room was beautifully furnished and had an excellent balcony and view. Our room was serviced everyday and was very clean. It is in a very good location for accessing the town, only a 5 minute walk. The owners were so friendly and helpful and we really appreciated being met and taken to the port. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Beautiful small hotel with super view

We loved this hotel. Very good location, super view over the small town and ocean. Only 5 min walk to town where we found really nice restaurants. The pool was very refreshing after a hot day. The room was big, clean, nice size bathroom. It was perfect for the money we paid! Breakfast was also great, loved the Greek yogurt! I definitely recommend this hotel..

An authentic little gem this small hotel

Our room was spacious, lovely and very clean. We really spent a fantastic time in this small hotel and appreciated very much the kindness of all the staff. Folegandros is a marvellous island and we hope to come back. Carla and Giovanni.

We loved our room

Rooms are very good, they are very large with all the amenities needed like the balcony. Do something for reducing the noise from the compressor of White hotel and improve the way of relationship with customer during their stay with suggestions on the island, be proactive on this.

It’s really a great hotel in Folegandros.We stayed 5 nights in this hotel which has a good situation and a beautiful swimming-pool. The personnel is very competent and the room number 6 was perfect (clean, big and very nice).

Good location overlooking Chora, fantastic view. Private balcony. Very friendly owner, helpful with providing local information – she gave us a lift to the port the last day! Very clean rooms, decorated in style. We could not find anything negative during our stay, we will definitely come back..

An oasis of peace and quiet

We decided to spend almost two weeks in Folegandros only at the end of June, joining friends of ours which already reserved downtown Chora. At the beginning we looked for and found at the same location of theirs, but before actually confirming, I wanted to give a look around, just to make sure there was no other better location. Solaris Hotel matched all our expectations, a good ratio price/quality, all the services we need, pool included. Then from the photos we had the chance to prevQuotesiew the location and our staying there confirmed what we expected. Even if it is a bit away from the center of Chora, in less than 10 min by foot you can walk between the white houses and restaurants. From the hotel you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the Chora and the Panagia (the church which dominates from above), but at the same time you are out of the main streams of tourists walking around and the few cars or buses riding the main street. I should say, I decided for Solaris by instinct, even if there was no availability for the whole period and the first and the last day were missing. Valentini was so kind to arrange our holiday, finding a way to add the last day. So, we arrived on July 21st, stayed at another place, waiting for the following day to go to the Solaris. Valentini arranged for us an early pick up with their car, she ordered an early cleaning of the room, giving us a chance to enter before the usual check-in time. The room was spacious enough for us (we were three people), I think it was the biggest they have (remember, room no.1), airy and bright, with a beautiful view, right on the pool with the town in the background, everything was set, with Valentini and the personnel available all the time for everything we might need. In case we go back to Folegandros, we shall choose Solaris again.

We have loved this hotel, the room is comfortable and very beautiful, Valentini is super, very polite and accommodating. Surely we will come back!

Best place to be in Chora Folegandros

Very stylish, clean and confortable apartment in Chora, protected from the messy village center –event though it’s a very small village–and with great views of the Panagia Church and the whole area. Very nice staff, good services, panoramic pool and breakfasts in a fresh terrace.It was perfect for us, it mached our wishes. The only improvement would be to have a room price including breakfast.

Wonderful hotel

Very beautiful hotel, non in the center but very near and it has a wonderful View. Rooms are nice and Clean. Staff was very kind and friendly. Only two little suggestions: breakfast is too expensive, increase a little bit the privacy of the rooms.

Fabulous hotel

Valentini was a wonderful host and so helpful. The location is slightly out of Chora but an easy 10 minuet walk to the centre of the beautiful village. We had a wonderful stay, nextQuotes time would be for longer!

Enjoyed Solaris hotel

Beautiful, quiet, confortable h?tel with a perfect location on Folegandros island. The staff is very careful and Valentini is very kind. The swimming pool is enjoyable. The room (7 for us) is just confortable for summer holidays, housekeeping is well done daily. We really recommend Solaris and hope to come again as soon as possible.

Soggiorno a Folegandros

Ottima posizione, curato, pulito, camera grande e funzionale, con tv, frigo, cassaforte e piccolo spazio esterno attrezzato con tavolino e sedie che abbiamo utilizzato per la colazione. Apprezzato il servizio transfer da e per il porto. Peccato per il Wifi non funzionante in camera, ma la titolare ci ha fatto lo sconto per non aver potuto usufruire di questo servizio!
